The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the night when it covers the day, 1 And the day when it shines in brightness, 2 and That which created the male and the female, 3 your striving is indeed to different ends! 4 For him that gives and fears (Allah) 5 and affirmed the Truth of goodness: 6 We will pave his way to ease. 7 But he who does not give and is unconcerned, 8 And rejects goodness, 9 We shall facilitate the path to affliction 10 and his wealth shall be of no avail to him when he perishes. 11 It is indeed for Us to show the way, 12 And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. 13 So, I warn you of the blazing Fire. 14 None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one. 15 He who denieth and turneth away. 16 But save him who fears 17 And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue, 18 not as payment for any favours that he received, 19 Except only the desire to seek the Countenance of his Lord, the Most High; 20 Will surely be gratified. 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
