Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
