3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
