Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
