What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 From the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 So I swear by the Lord of every East and every West, that We are indeed Able. 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!- 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 with downcast eyes and faces distorted in shame; such is the Day which they are promised. 44

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
