Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble scribes 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 to burn therein. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
