The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
