(Recount to them about the time) when Your Lord called Moses: "Go to the wrong-doing people, 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 "My breast will be straitened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron. 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 [Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'" 17 (Pharaoh) said (unto Moses): Did we not rear thee among us as a child? And thou didst dwell many years of thy life among us, 18 And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful." 19 Replied [Moses]: "I committed it while I was still going astray; 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Said Pharaoh: "And what [and who] is that 'Sustainer of all the worlds'?" 23 Said Moosa, “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; if you believe.” 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 (Pharaoh) said: "Truly your messenger who has been sent to you is a veritable madman!" 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 Fir'awn said: if thou wilt take a god other than me, I shall surely place thee among the prisoners. 29 Moses said: "Even if I were to bring a Clear Sign to you?" 30 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" 31 So (Moses) cast his staff, and lo, it turned into a living serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand, and it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
