The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
