Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 until you reach your graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
