Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 With difficulty is surely ease. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
Almighty God's Truth.
