The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
