O Ye who believe! devour not usury, multiplied manifold; and fear Allah, haply ye may fare well. 130 And have fear of the Fire which awaits those who deny the Truth. 131 And obey Allah and the apostle, haply ye may be shewn mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to a forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as wide as heaven and earth, prepared for the cautious 133 Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good; 134 And who, when they have committed an indecency or have wronged their souls, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven, (for who but God can forgive sins?) and do not knowingly persist in their misdeeds, 135 Their recompense is pardon by their Lord, and gardens with streams of running water where they will abide for ever. How fair is the recompense of those who act! 136 There have been examples before you. Journey in the land and see what was the fate of the liars. 137 This (Quran) is a reminder for the people and a guide and advice for the pious. 138 So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. 139 If a wound touches you, a like wound already has touched the heathen; such days We deal out in turn among men, and that God may know who are the believers, and that He may take witnesses from among you; and God loves not the evildoers; 140 and that God may prove the believers, and blot out the unbelievers. 141 Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast? 142 You previously longed for death (in the way of Allah): now you have faced it, observing it with your own eyes. 143
