The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in its long columns of flames. 9
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
