The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
