NOW THOSE who are bent on denying the truth say [unto one another]: "Do not listen to this Qur'an, but rather talk frivolously about it, so that you might gain the upper hand!" 26 But We will certainly give the Unbelievers a taste of a severe Penalty, and We will requite them for the worst of their deeds. 27 This is the recompense of Allah’s enemies – the fire; they have to stay in it forever; the penalty for denying Our signs. 28 Those who deny the truth will say, "Our Lord, show us those jinn and men who misled us and we shall trample them underfoot, so that they may be among the lowest of the low." 29 Lo! those who say: Our Lord is Allah, and afterward are upright, the angels descend upon them, saying: Fear not nor grieve, but hear good tidings of the paradise which ye are promised. 30 We are your friends in the present life and in the world to come; therein you shall have all that your souls desire, all that you call for, 31 “The hospitality of the Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.” 32
