Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
