And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
