The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
