A throng of the ancients 39 And a multitude of those of later time. 40 And those of the left hand, how wretched are those of the left hand! 41 They will find themselves in scorching wind and scalding water, 42 and the shadow of a smoking blaze 43 Neither cool nor honorable. 44 Indeed they were among favours before this. 45 and had persisted in the Great Sin. 46 And they used to say: "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be resurrected? 47 "(We) and our fathers of old?" 48 Say: 'The ancients, and the later folk 49 will indeed be gathered together at a fixed time on an appointed Day. 50 Then you, you misguided ones, who deny the truth, 51 you will indeed have to taste of the tree of deadly fruit, 52 And shall fill therewith your bellies. 53 And thereon ye will drink of boiling water, 54 and you will drink as the lapping of thirsty camels. 55 That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense. 56 We have created you: why then do you not accept the truth? 57 Have you seen sperm? 58 did you create it or did We? 59 We have incorporated death in your constitution, and We shall not be hindered 60 from replacing you by others like yourselves or changing your forms and re-creating you in forms that you know nothing of. 61 And certainly you know the first growth, why do you not then mind? 62 Just ponder over what you sow: 63 Is it you who cause them to grow or do We? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry pieces, and you would be regretful (or left in wonderment). 65 That, "We have indeed been penalised!" 66 Indeed, we have been deprived of the fruits of our labour." 67 Have you considered the water which you drink? 68 Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? 69 If We had so pleased, We could have made it bitter. So why would you not give thanks? 70 Have you seen the fire which you kindle? 71 Is it you who grew its tree, or is it We Who create? 72 We! it is We Who made it a reminder and a provision unto the campers. 73 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 74

Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the left to display the Juz Table of Contents where you can go to any Juz, Hizb, ¾, ½, ¼, or any page within.
Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
