The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
