We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian. 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And then the Trumpet was blown. This is the day of the promised chastisement. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29
