Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then he who transgressed 37 and preferred the present life, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
