Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I pray unto Allah only, and ascribe unto Him no partner. 20 Say thou: verily I own not for you power of hurt nor of benefit 21 Say, "No one can protect me from God, nor can I find any place of refuge but with him. 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 Till the time when they will see what they are promised – so they will now come to know whose aide is weak, and who is lesser in number. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 Knower He of the Unseen, and He discloses not His Unseen to anyone, 26 except the messenger whom He has chosen. He sends down guardians who walk before them and behind them, 27 "That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." 28
