And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. Every one of them is among the best. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And with them will be virgins of refraining looks and of equal age. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 And other (torment) of the kind in pairs (the two extremes)! 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
