Noah said: “My Lord, they did not pay heed to what I said, and followed those (nobles) whose possession of wealth and children has led them to an even greater loss. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 And they have said: Forsake not your gods. Forsake not Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. 23 And they have led many astray, and Thou increasest the wrong-doers in naught save error. 24 They were drowned and sent to Hell for their misdeeds; they found no one to help them against God. 25 And Noah said, 'My Lord, leave not upon the earth of the unbelievers even one. 26 Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women; and do not increase the unjust in aught but destruction! 28
