We settled the children of Israel in a blessed land and provided them with pure sustenance. They did not create differences among themselves until after the knowledge had come to them. God will judge their differences on the Day of Judgment. 93 And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers. 94 do not be one who rejects God's signs, for then you would become one of the losers. 95 Those against whom your Lord's word has been confirmed will never believe; 96 even though every sign comes to them, until they see the painful punishment. 97 Why then was there not a township which believed, so that its faith might have profited it, except the people of Yunus! When they believed, We removed from them the torment of humiliation in the life of the world, and We let them enjoy for a season. 98 If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have come to believe, one and all. 99 No soul can believe except by the permission of Allah. Upon those who do not understand lays His punishment. 100 Tell them: 'Observe carefully all that is in the heavens and the earth.' But no signs and warnings can avail those who are bent on not believing. 101 Can such, then, expect anything else [to befall them] but the like of the days of [calamity which befell] those [deniers of the truth] who passed away before them? Say: "Wait, then, [for what will happen] verily, I shall wait with you!" 102 Then We shall save Our messengers and those who believe. Thus We have made it incumbent upon Ourself to save the believers. 103
