۞ Have you not looked at those who repaid God's favours with ingratitude; who pulled their people down to ruin, 28 Hell, where they will roast in the fire? And what an evil repository! 29 And they ascribed equals to Allah to mislead from His way; say, “Enjoy a while, for your end will be the fire.” 30 [And] tell [those of] My servants who have attained to faith that they should be constant in prayer and spend [in Our way,] secretly and openly, out of what We provide for them as sustenance, ere there come a Day when there will be no bargaining, and no mutual befriending. 31 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth, and sent down water from the sky, therefore producing some fruits for you to eat; and subjected the ships for you, that they may sail upon the sea by His command; and subjected the rivers for you. 32 And subjected the sun and the moon for you, which are constantly moving; and has subjected the night and the day for you. 33 and Who gave you all that you asked Him for. Were you to count the favours of Allah you shall never be able to encompass them. Verily man is highly unjust, exceedingly ungrateful. 34
