Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And ease for me my task 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 that they may understand my words. 28 and appoint for me, out of my kinsfolk, one who will help me to bear my burden: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 By him confirm my strength 31 And let him share my task, 32 That we may exalt You much 33 "And remember You much, 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 I have chosen thee for My service; 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has waxed insolent; 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 The two said:" Lord! We fear he may commit excesses against us, or transgress all bounds." 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 Surely it has been revealed to us that the chastisement will surely come upon him who rejects and turns back. 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 Who hath appointed for you the earth as a bed, and hath opened for you therein pathways, and hath sent down from the heaven water, and thereby We have brought forth kinds of plants, various. 53 So eat yourself and pasture your cattle. Surely there are many Signs in this for people of understanding. 54
