Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 And a ban is laid on every town which We have destroyed, that they Shall not return. 95 Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill. 96 And the True Promise has come near – thereupon the eyes of the disbelievers will become fixed, staring wide; saying “Woe to us – we were in neglect of this, but in fact we were unjust.” 97 “Indeed you* and all that you worship** besides Allah, are the fuel of hell; in it you must go.” (* All disbelievers ** Idols and disbelievers who claimed to be Gods. The Prophets like Eisa and Uzair who were worshipped are exempt from this, and so are Maryam, and trees and the moon etc.) 98 if those had really been deities, they would not have been led there; but there they will remain forever. 99 For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear. 100 [But,] behold, as for those for whom [the decree of] ultimate good has already gone forth from Us these will be kept far away from that [hell]: 101 Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell. 102 The great fearful event shall not grieve them, and the angels shall meet them: This is your day which you were promised. 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout. 106 We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. 107 Say: "What has come to me by inspiration is that your Allah is One Allah: will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)?" 108 Then if they turn away, say thou: I have proclaimed unto you all alike, and I know not whether nigh or far is that which ye are promised, 109 Lo! He knoweth that which is said openly, and that which ye conceal. 110 I think that this [reprieve] is possibly a trial for you, an opportunity to enjoy yourselves until an appointed time." 111 And the Prophet submitted, “My Lord – render the true judgement”; “And only the help of Our Lord, the Most Gracious, is sought against all what you fabricate.” 112
