Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His wealth and what he earns will not avail him. 2 He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames! 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
