O you apostles, eat things that are clean, and do things that are good. We are surely cognisant of what you do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 Wherefore leave thou them in their bewilderment for a season. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 And those who give what they give (in alms) while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord they must return, 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 And [withal.] We do not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: for with Us is a record that speaks the truth [about what men do and can do]; and none shall be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or say they: There is a madness in him? Nay, but he bringeth them the Truth; and most of them are haters of the Truth. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 But those who believe not in the Hereafter turn away from the straight path. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 until We open before them a gate of [truly] severe suffering [in the life to come]: and then, lo! they will be broken in spirit. 77
