The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
