The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 surely your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
