And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
