Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
