Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
