The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
