The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the Mount 1 and by the Book in lines 2 In parchment unrolled. 3 By the House Frequented. 4 And the elevated canopy 5 By the sea overflowing. 6 surely, the punishment of your Lord is about to come, 7 There is none that can ward it off. 8 Upon the Day when the heaven spins dizzily 9 And the mountains will move away with an awful movement. 10 On that Day woe to those who belied 11 all those who [throughout their lives] but idly played with things vain 12 The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say], 13 (it will be said to them): 'This is the Fire which you belied! 14 Is it magic then or do you not see? 15 Endure it [now]! But [whether you] bear yourselves with patience or without patience, it will be the same to you: you are but being requited for what you were wont to do." 16 Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) will be in Gardens (Paradise), and Delight. 17 Rejoicing in that which their Lord hath vouchsafed unto them; and their Lord will protect them from the torment of the Flame. 18 (They will be told): “Eat and drink to your hearts' content as a reward for your deeds.” 19 Reclining on thrones set in lines, and We will unite them to large-eyed beautiful ones. 20 And those who believe and whose progeny follow them in belief. We shall cause their progeny to join them, and We shall not diminish unto them aught of their own work. Every man is for that which he hath earned a pledge. 21 We shall provide them in abundance with such fruit and meat as they desire. 22 There, they shall pass from hand to hand a cup which does not lead to any idle talk or sin. 23 ۞ And they will be waited upon by [immortal] youths, [as if they were children] of their own, [as pure] as if they were pearls hidden in their shells. 24 They will advance to each other, engaging in mutual enquiry. 25 Saying: Surely we feared before on account of our families: 26 "But Allah has been gracious to us, and has saved us from the torment of the Fire. 27 Verily, we did invoke Him [alone] ere this: [and now He has shown us] that He alone is truly benign, a true dispenser of grace!" 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
