The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 That issueth from between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Most surely He is able to return him (to life). 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 So I call to witness the rain-producing sky, 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 BEHOLD, this [divine writ] is indeed a word that distinguishes between truth and falsehood, 13 And it is no joke. 14 They are hatching up a plot, 15 and I am devising guile. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
