The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determined and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
