Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is it timed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 until an appointed time? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
