۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
