We shall make satan the companion of whoever ignores the remembrance of the Beneficent God. 36 And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided 37 But when he comes to Us, he will say (to his satan): “Would that there had been between me and you the distance as between the East and the West. How evil a companion you were!” 38 And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment. 39 So will you make the deaf listen or show the path to the blind, and to those who are in open error? (The disbelievers whose hearts are sealed, are deaf and blind to the truth). 40 Even if We take thee away, We shall be sure to exact retribution from them, 41 Or (if) We show thee that wherewith We threaten them; for lo! We have complete command of them. 42 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. Surely you are on the Straight Way. 43 And verily, this (the Quran) is indeed a Reminder for you (O Muhammad SAW) and your people (Quraish people, or your followers), and you will be questioned (about it). 44 And ask them – did any of the Noble Messengers We sent before you, appoint any other Gods except the Most Gracious, whom they used to worship? 45
