The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
