Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the late morning, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
