Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
