The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
