Hizb 46

AND, BEHOLD, Jonah was indeed one of Our message-bearers 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 And had he not been of those who hallow Him, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 God hath begotten. Verily they are the liars. 152 Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you decide? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Produce, then, that divine writ of yours, if you are speaking the truth! 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 except him who shall roast in the Blazing Fire. 163 "There is not one of us who does not have his appointed place," (declare the angels.) 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 And surely they used to say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
