The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ (O Prophet), declare to My servants that I am indeed Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
